Completed in 1931, the banking room of One Wall Street was conceived by architect Ralph Walker and muralist Hildreth Meir as the impressive reception room and banking hall of the Irving Trust Company.

This extraordinary, elaborately tiled space known as the Red Room, was the first of several interior collaborations between Miera and Walker.

LPC's designated interior landmarks are special places that must be customarily open or accessible to the public.
