Council Member Restler inquires about DCAS's data collection on bicycle storage in city buildings. Deputy Commissioner Ringelheim confirms that DCAS tracks bicycle storage for the 55 buildings they manage, with 29 currently having bicycle storage.

  • DCAS only tracks bicycle storage for buildings they manage
  • Out of 55 DCAS-managed buildings, 29 have bicycle storage
  • The data is specifically for DCAS-managed buildings, not all city-owned buildings

Thank you very much, council member Brewer.
1:41:26
I will just do a couple more questions of this panel and then let you all have a great afternoon.
1:41:34
First, for deputy commissioner Ringelheim, could you just clarify, do you does DCAS currently collect data on which city buildings have which of the 55 Decast buildings have bicycle storage.
1:41:47
And do you track what non what city owned buildings have bicycle storage, or is that not something you guys keep tabs on?
Laura Ringelheim
1:41:55
We only currently track the ones that we manage.
Lincoln Restler
1:41:58
Okay.
Laura Ringelheim
1:41:58
So of the 55.
Lincoln Restler
1:41:59
So the 55, you do track.
1:42:01

Laura Ringelheim
1:42:05
I'm gonna give you the latest numbers that we had as of this hearing which was, I believe, 29 half bicycle storage.
Lincoln Restler
1:42:14
Okay.
1:42:14
And have you evaluated the feasibility of the other 26 of the 55 that don't?
