given the I mean, you're kinda getting at my next question, especially around automatic automated public toilets.
0:48:35
Yeah.
0:48:36
The amount of people that amount of entities that have to approve these and sign off teams just an enormous barrier to just getting it done.
0:48:44
So I'm just wondering besides this mock tool, I mean, what does the administration have recommendations on how to cut down all the people that need to be involved in this?
0:48:54
I mean, some of what we're trying get out as a long term plan and strategy so that we can kinda streamline some of this stuff.
0:49:01
And it just seems like there's everybody in the mix.
0:49:04
So I'm curious just, like, if you have any initial recommendations for approving specifically automated public toilets, but then also your specific role or this this specific position, how is it you know, how where is it on in the in the layer of all those entities?
0:49:21
Are you the head person in charge of the public toilet planning process.
0:49:26
I mean, it's kind of, you know, there's a lot of people in the mix.

So
Ya-Ting Liu
0:49:28
Yeah.
0:49:29
You
Sandy Nurse
0:49:29
could just kind of illustrate for us a little bit more.
Ya-Ting Liu
0:49:31
Yeah.
0:49:32
No, that's that's a great question.
0:49:34
I I kind of see myself and and this role, and my team's role here at City Hall as sort of a quarterback.
0:49:40
We we are trying to have a thirty thousand foot bird's eye view across government agencies and the city.
0:49:48
And so, for example, the DOTs, APT, Europe, if we showed you the flowchart of the approval process, it is incredibly tedious and intensive.
0:50:01
And to your question about, is there a way that we can cut those steps down?
0:50:07
I would love to come back to you and and other members of this committee to brainstorm ideas.
0:50:12
Some of the stuff, it's been a steep learning curve for me, just learning, things that are of irrevocable consent, things that are in the charter, things that are ad code, things that are rule making, and trying to understand and peel back the layers to say, okay.
0:50:28
What needs to go through?
0:50:29
What?
0:50:29
And what could we do on our own as administration?
0:50:33
We're mapping that out now.
