In addition to the creation of the YLC Committee, we've created new trainings for staff both the foundational training and the refresher training, and for foster parents as well.

Can we've continued to fund the LGBT center, LGBTQ center, and the Ackerman Institute who train clinicians to support ACS and BAW families.

Organized and facilitated LGBTQD grant by plus events for ACS staff and provider agency staff, and the LGBTQA plus unit of the office of equity strategies has provided ongoing technical assistance across the agency.

We also added soji questions to our annual youth experience survey, and in the most recent survey 2024, 30 35 percent of the youth surveyed did not identify as heterosexual.

We're also in the process of updating our policy, which when completed, will be more user friendly and incorporate a stronger emphasis on the needs of trans and gender non binary, non conforming youth in the policy itself.
