- Porcelli emphasizes that engagement with community-based organizations happens year-round, not just during roundtables or Pride events

Thank you for that.
0:59:44
I have two more questions.
0:59:46
I'm gonna hand it back to Cheers Stevens.
0:59:49
When Cheers Stevens' actual question, you had mentioned roundtables.
0:59:52
So the Unity project was created under the form administration, under the Blasio, now under the Adams administration, how how many roundtables have you been hosting under this new administration?
Ronald Porcelli
1:00:06
So during this administration, there has been 3 roundtables in total.
1:00:10
2 that's the first one is the LGBTQ plus roundtable at the start of the administration.
1:00:16
The second was the TGNCMB people of color round table, and then recently there was an LGBTQ plus round table.
1:00:23
That is one forum for this sort of community engagement.
1:00:27
This engagement is ongoing.
1:00:29
Additionally, there was recently a roundtable in August related to TG and CMB safety matters.
1:00:35
So that is opportunity to bring together different CBO partners.
1:00:40
But engagement of that sort happens, whether it's in a roundtable or some other format, check-in with various community based organizations.
1:00:49
Not only at round tables and not only during pride, but really year round.
1:00:54
There's oftentimes where I meet with the Alephonet center every single week and sometimes more than once a week.
1:01:00
And so Those are ongoing discussions.
1:01:03
Roundtable, I think, is one source where people are able to share that sort of information and have that sort of thought partnership across the administration.
1:01:12
But it's certainly something that is important so that we're not just working in some sort of silo here.
