Throughout the year, QPL staff and our government and community partners leverage our spaces to empower customers as well informed citizens through public resource tabling and informational workshops.

The library works closely with the New York City Civic Engagement Commission to support the people's money through community outreach and awareness.

Last year at 23 QPO locations across the borough, residents voted on how to spend taxpayer money.

And this year, we conducted a digital campaign encouraging library users to submit their votes online.

For over a decade, the library has partnered closely with the NYC Council on participatory budgeting by hosting information sessions and providing polling sites during voting week.
