Intro353A would require the Department of Citywide Administrative Services in coordination with other relevant agencies to install a 150 megawatts of solar panel systems on the roofs of City Own Buildings and other city owned property by the end of 2035.

The department would be required to complete at least a 100 megawatts worth of installations by September 1st 2030.

Installation would be prioritized in disadvantaged communities, and the department would be required to set criteria for increasing the number of eligible roofs that can host solar panel systems.
