Honestly, council member, Rustorax, the question.
1:58:46
But I I'm not sure if you guys were listening to the the panel, the first panel, the first that was here and and my addition to their testimony regarding an incident that happened to my brother while he was in in in care.
1:59:03
And on two occasions, he was stabbed at strikers.
1:59:07
And I heard about it from him when he finally was able to call me.
1:59:12
And so I I I really I find that very troubling.
1:59:16
It's not an isolated case.
1:59:18
You know, it it not only I mean, it happened to him twice in the same year within a few months of each other, and and we hear this time and time again from families.
1:59:27
So, you know, I I I really I guess my question would be, what after hearing all of these stories, after repeated lawsuits, after repeated complaints has the DLC learned to do better, to ensure that these things are not happening, and that family members are, in fact, notified.
1:59:50
I mean, you know, I understand that these are folks that are incarcerated for whatever reason.
1:59:54
There's still somebody's children, somebody's family members.
1:59:58
The fact that we are relying primarily on the hospital staff to make that call, but don't necessarily have information or data to support whether or not, you know, they are, in fact, making those calls, whether they have the appropriate.

Next step can contact.
2:00:17
To me, it's concerning.
2:00:19
You know?
2:00:19
So you And I I really wanna know what has the deals you learned in the last few years and and what changes have you made to ensure that these things are not continuing to happen because my brother's case was just last year.
2:00:34
It was just last year.
