2:10:25
Thank you for being here in person and testifying and for your patience.
2:10:29
Can I ask a couple of questions?
Kristen Gonzalez
2:10:30
Oh, yeah.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
2:10:30
Yeah.
2:10:32
Have you heard from constituents about utilizing the portal at all?
Kristen Gonzalez
2:10:37
So we have heard I have heard on actually community boards.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
2:10:42
Oh.
Kristen Gonzalez
2:10:42
For concerns around privacy, they we they wanna see a New York state privacy bill pass.
2:10:47
So for example, in Queen's Community Board 2.
2:10:49
That's one of the bills of my constituents directly support, specifically because they know that our city and state governments are deploying tools.
2:10:56
But even though they have internal standards on privacy, these standards are and codified into law.
2:11:01
So theoretically, data can be shared across agencies, shared with policing, entities, and also can be used to make predictive decisions about their lives.
2:11:13
So having a baseline of privacy is actually something that Mhmm.
2:11:16
Has come up several times.
