Do you have a sense of and I know that the data that we have and you shared really, I think, promising data of the amount of folks that have been applying for child Medicare where 75% of all new applications are submitted through my city.
0:52:39
I think that's great.
0:52:40
Congrats.
0:52:41
Do you have a sense of like, what what was the amount of people applying just through paper applications?
0:52:46
Do you have a just so that we can care.
0:52:49
Because I I I will also say that the same time that folks were applying their the the city and the council had invested money in in marketing.
0:52:56
So, basically, like, helping to point people towards the app.
0:52:59
Like, we want you to enroll your kids.
0:53:02
In our programs we want you to know what you're eligible for.
0:53:04
So it would give me a really good sense of kind of like where we were, where we've come from, and where we're at now.
0:53:09
Do you all have that information of of paper applications versus obviously the information that you have today?
Matthew Fraser
0:53:16
So for statistics on applications, I can refer to our associate commissioner for application engineering that can talk about what the existing pipeline looks like versus paper.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
0:53:26
And then also, I'm sorry, if I could just add, do you if you have information people that are still using paper applications in FY 24.
Amrit Singh
0:53:35
So right now, the majority of applications are digital.
0:53:39
As of this morning, we've looked back at the stats, and now it's closer to 90 percent, actually, that's digital.
0:53:45
So there's a very small percentage of applications in our paper.
0:53:49
So as far as applications that have been sent, we are close to 69,000 applications that have been sent and approximately around the same time, around 95 100 applications that have been paper, and the trend has been that, you know, more and more applications are now digital than paper.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
0:54:05
So 9500 in this last fiscal year are were submitted via paper.
Amrit Singh
0:54:11
Since we've started this this program.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
0:54:13
Okay.
0:54:13
Since last since March 2023.
0:54:15
Right.
0:54:16
And then what is the amount I'm sorry that you said of of folks applying online?
0:54:19
You said 69,000?
Amrit Singh
0:54:21
No.
0:54:21
Right now, 90% of the total applications are digital.
0:54:25
Okay.
0:54:25
So it's in gone up from 75%, since we've checked earlier.
0:54:29
And as far as paper stats from before, it's a little bit difficult to report because there were a lot of other things happening around that same time frame with COVID and those type of things.
0:54:37
So those stats on paper applications are not as level.
