Can you share if there's any role that my city's back end plays in in agency to agency data sharing or coordination of that?
Matthew Fraser
2:02:55
Yeah.
2:02:56
For sure.
2:02:57
So between the agencies, especially for benefit fit rendering, if there's information that's required to be shared between agencies, the MOUs in place that that govern the specific use of data and the purpose for which that information is being shared.
2:03:12
And any information that that shared is covered in that space.
2:03:15
We also have privacy writers and addendums that that align to the use of that information.
2:03:20
So I think for us, in general, any information that shared, again, we are the facilitators building the technology.
2:03:28
The specific business agreements between the agencies of how they use the information in it is shared between the agencies.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
2:03:35
Okay.
2:03:36
Will the is I mean, is there an MOU with PD with NYPD?
Matthew Fraser
2:03:41
No?
2:03:41
Not not at this moment.
Cynthia Conti-Cook
2:03:42
No.
2:03:43
Okay.
2:03:43
Okay.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
2:03:46
Is there anything any reason or anything related to you know, as someone's creating a profile and as you all are are analyzing and launching the common services, potentially a scenario where you're utilizing someone's information about substance abuse or anything like that.
2:04:07
Is there is there, like, a future where this kind of very personal information could be shared with PD at their request.
Matthew Fraser
2:04:14
Unless the NYPD becomes in the business of a insert of starting daycare facilities in child care.
2:04:21
We're not we're not.
2:04:22
There's We
Jennifer Gutiérrez
2:04:22
just wanna be very careful about how we're protecting people's, you know, personal information, and I think so much of of what I'm hearing about the future of my city is, like, seeing where people need help.
2:04:34
And connecting them to that help.
2:04:36
So I just wanna be very, very specific and very careful about how we integrate law enforcement, for example, in some of these instances.
2:04:42
And and you can, I think, also, understand why why some of your workers wanna wanna share some information for this fear?
Matthew Fraser
2:04:48
Yeah.
2:04:49
I I I can definitely understand that concern turn.
2:04:51
And one of the reasons why we have a chief privacy officer for the city and that privacy officer sits outside of any specific entity.
2:04:59
It's responsible for overseeing privacy across the city is is for that point to ensure that we're not biased in any way by any specific agency's mission, and it's done at a level where we're overseeing what's best for our constituents, not for the agency.
2:05:14
That's requesting the information.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
2:05:15
That's right.
2:05:16
I'm glad it's on it's on the record.
2:05:18
I appreciate that.
Matthew Fraser
2:05:19
Thank you.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
2:05:19
So I think we're gonna wrap up with questions.
2:05:21
I know I know that you probably have to leave, but we can stay just a couple moments or your team can stay for the public testimony.
