  • The current phase involves reengineering existing systems and ensuring the right information is collected
  • A common services platform was launched last summer, allowing users to create profiles and save information
  • A pilot program is planned to send notifications about eligible programs and services based on user information
  • The goal is to launch the pilot program in the coming months, ideally before the end of the year
  • The timeline is flexible to accommodate user testing and review processes

And for the current phase that you're in of assessing, you know and I think it's I think it's incredibly useful for people to know what they qualify for, what they're eligible for.
0:23:57
I think that's all really empowering.
0:23:59
What is that timeline, I guess, or, like, what are the external benchmarks you all are instituting.
0:24:05
What does success look like in in this particular phase?
0:24:09
Is is success?
0:24:10
We have client New Yorker number 1.
0:24:12
We've connected them to these 4 additional benefits.
0:24:15
Is that success?
0:24:16
What is that for you all and what is that timeline where you're looking to be able to achieve that?
Matthew Fraser

So a part a part of the complexity in building something like this is that you have systems that are in the city that have decades of inertia behind them.
0:24:29
And the technical expertise behind those systems and building those integrations are the the there's a mix of capability.
0:24:38
And I think for us, a lot of the work that we're doing right now is going back and reengineering some of the things that's been done.
0:24:44
And making sure that when we collect information, it's the right the right information.
0:24:48
But the specific for the specific program deliverables and things that are coming out within the next quarter, our w our deputy commissioner for strategic initiatives can can highlight some of those and what's coming in the immediate future.
Ruby Choi

Hi.
0:25:04
Thank you for that question.
0:25:06
So I think the CTO had already mentioned the platform that we're building everything on is called common services, which is going to be has launched last summer.
0:25:16
The landing page where a user can create a profile.
0:25:19
That's where they save information they have used before for applications.
0:25:24
Our goal is to use that platform to send notifications based on the information they provided.
0:25:31
What other programs and services a user may be eligible for.
0:25:35
So that is gonna be a pilot that we're hoping to launch in the coming months.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
0:25:42
Sorry.
0:25:42
Before the end of the year?
Ruby Choi
0:25:44
Ideally, but it still has to go through user testing and and review.
