- Fraser describes the ultimate goal as democratizing access to government services
- The vision involves removing agency-specific branding and experiences
- MyCity aims to be a single pathway for constituents to interact with the city government
- The focus is on providing access to services in a way that's meaningful to residents, rather than maintaining agency identities

So like your your ultimate goals, you you plan to adopt the the MyCiti portal as the only method to access services provided by city agencies or each agency well, what's happening now?
1:00:02
Each agency will continue to provide access to services provided, those you know, by those agencies.
1:00:08
So what what's your ultimate goal here?
1:00:10
So With the mice,
Matthew Fraser
1:00:12
my my ultimate goal, I used to say, our ultimate goal is to democratize access to government services in a way that the people care about.
1:00:21
One of the biggest challenges I feel and that I've seen across the city is that all of our digital presence, all of our applications have been built, and it's been focused around the agency identity.
1:00:33
Right?
1:00:34
And it's like each one of these agencies are their own companies.
1:00:37
And for the city, the average person that lives in the doesn't wanna understand the complexities between where DOB steps in and where HDD comes in.
1:00:45
And they don't wanna understand the brand and the propaganda information around what the agencies look like.
1:00:50
They don't care.
1:00:52
And for our goal is through my city, is it for it to be your pathway into the city.
1:00:57
Remove the agency specific branding, remove the agency specific experience, and build one way where our constituents can interact with with government in a way that provides them access to what they need.
1:01:09
And I think for us, the more that we continue to propagate the agency specific approach, we find ourselves further and further away from what the actual individual, what the person in New York City is looking for.
