And the students living in DHS shelters that are eligible for bus service, but didn't have a bus in place for the 1st day of school.
2:29:08
How many students is that?
Flavia Puello-Perdomo
2:29:10
Our colleagues can speak to the number of students.
2:29:12
I do wanna clarify something because I think earlier on to the question of how many of the students in DHS shelter gets busing and the number being around 500,400 that are receiving.
2:29:26
But in k through 6, in DHS shelters, there's about 13,271.
2:29:32
Right?
2:29:33
And students in DHS shelters and all of the students who are impacted by temporary housing are by law require to have preference to their zone school.
2:29:43
So the same notion of getting students closer to their community.
2:29:47
But I'm happy, you know, to work with you and to work with any of our other council members if we find a particular zone or a particular area where we feel like we need to work with DHS and spend more time, but I think those numbers are a little bit more clear because I think earlier, the focus was on the 38,000, but it's really 13,200 students k through 6.
2:30:09
Who are in DHS shelter that as a result and are required to have both seen if requested.
2:30:16
And I think you asked some seen on a loan timelines for
Rita Joseph
2:30:19
Mhmm.
Glenn Risbrook
2:30:20
Right.
2:30:21
I think the questions asked a little earlier.
2:30:23
All the students that that we received the data for contemporary housing by the deadline that we had for August 26 were routed for the 1st day of school.
2:30:31
Currently, as I as I said, going through this month, we are processing students for temporary housing for busing.
2:30:37
And I will get that number to you that it proves not
Rita Joseph
2:30:41
as well.
2:30:42
Okay.
2:30:42
Thank you.
2:30:42
Council member, you wanted to.
