But I'm just gonna speak based on my experience here.

I migrated to New York 2 years ago.

And upon being here, it was so difficult for me to, you know, find a job I applied for several jobs in the hotel industry because that's where I worked in my previous country, and it was unsuccessful.

Most cases, I'll get a response maybe a month, 2 months later saying that someone else was chosen or it's it's a case where I'm scheduled for a second interview.

I was employed in my 6th month of being in the country by a subcontractor.

And this has opened many doors for me being able to provide for my family.

Working for a subcontractor, of course, this provide stability for not just me, but for my colleagues and coworkers as well, for being able to provide to our families back home, and, of course, being able to provide for ourselves while being here.

Please do not pass this bill because I see where this will negatively impact myself, my colleagues, and hundreds of other employees in the hotel industry.
