31 dash 17 12th Street rezoning will facilitate a new five story residential building with 35 housing units, 9 of which will be permanently affordable units under NIH and council member Kavans District.

The building at the Brooklyn Edison Building And Council member wrestlers district, the original headquarters of our city's leading electricity company serving Brooklyn from the late 19th century through the mid 20th century, was built the Renaissance revival style and housed a lighting and telephone system.

The building was home to a variety of businesses since the Brooklyn Edison Company merged with Con Edison in 1943.
