1:32:05
As a matter of fact, everyone.
1:32:07
First of all, I must say thank you for this opportunity.
1:32:12
To be testifying here for this very important project.
1:32:17
And I must commend your team here of the worker you've been doing and the questions you have been asking are very sensitive.
1:32:27
But I thought also a most recommended developer for trying to work with the community to ensure that for the 4th time ever, in this city that we're gonna have a project of this nature, where it's gonna be finance, manage, and operated by the union.
1:32:56
This has never happened before.
1:32:58
This is a unique project.
1:33:01
And what's important about this project is that the people in this community will have an opportunity to live in the housing that they are providing, the reality is that it when we look around our children' future is at stake, and I understand that comes to women on our, you know, on our constituency and what, you know, on the kind of work you're doing.
1:33:32
And we have a right to represent them.
1:33:34
Well, let's look at the most critical thing in this city.
1:33:37
We don't have housing for people.
1:33:40
We don't have enough jobs or people.
1:33:45
The the the crime is escalating, where good union jobs is not a silver bullet.
1:33:53
But we have an opportunity to start changing things in our community.
1:33:58
This project is so unique that many people who live there would have an opportunity to work there They will have an opportunity to be part of something different.
1:34:12
And that's why the building and construction trades, the 100 block construction workers, laborers local 79, and the missing tenders are in support of this project.
1:34:26
I'm looking forward and we are looking forward that you guys that we can work together and find a solution that we can make this city better and provide the housing under opportunities for children and for future.
1:34:43
Thank you.
