4:38:33
What what are you doing to the Bronx?
Kristy Marmorato
4:38:35
Because when I go on housing connect and I look at other places of the Bronx, it's absolutely unaffordable.
4:38:41
And that's, like, not acceptable.
4:38:42
I, myself, probably couldn't even live in a studio apartment with my salary and what the the rents are.
Adolfo Carrión Jr.
4:38:50
So for purposes of this hearing, you know, we're focused on the zoning proposal.
Kristy Marmorato
4:38:57
Right.
4:38:58
But you're talking about needing to build affordable housing.
4:39:01
If it's already not affordable, what's gonna happen when you continue to build up the Bronx?
Adolfo Carrión Jr.
4:39:05
Yeah.
4:39:06
As I stated earlier, you know, more than 90% of the housing that we finance is for severely rent burden people.
4:39:16
We're talking extremely low income, very low income and low income families.
4:39:21
We continue to work on trying to deepen affordability and For purposes of this hearings proposal, this will help us to to achieve deeper affordability in many places around the city and increase the supply of affordable housing all across the city.
Kristy Marmorato
4:39:42
It's just gonna mean that if it's super expensive in certain portions of the Bronx, you're gonna try to find with the rest of the land, which is gonna be in my community because now we have to all do our share of it, and it my rents are gonna start going up because they have been going up as it is.
4:39:57
And that's not fair.
Kevin C. Riley
4:39:59
Counselor and maserat, do you have second round?
Kristy Marmorato
4:40:00
I'm done.
4:40:01
I'm good.
4:40:02
Thank you.
4:40:02
