The city published its housing and vacancy survey and tau to 1.4 percent vacancy rate as a clear indicator of the housing crisis.
3:46:48
But as I understand it, this this number reflects only units put on the market.
3:46:53
But as we know oh, as a bigger problem is that a lot of these vacant units are held off market and either being kept off market because the landlords don't want to or because they're being bought off immediately as financial investments or aren't just aren't occupied.
3:47:10
And sometimes they're used as secondary homes for folks.
3:47:14
And so do you have a percentage of all the units that are on and off the market that are considered vacant?
Daniel Garodnick
3:47:23
So let me I'm gonna have Commissioner Carry on address the vacant and available versus vacant and unavailable question that you're raising.
3:47:34
