I'm a blind New Yorker who lives in Midtown Manhattan on a fixed income, which is SSI, food stamps and Medicaid.

Someone like me would not be able to afford an apartment on this housing opportunity plan just like I cannot afford a rent stabilized apartment or any apartment on any of the so called affordable housing lotteries, I would someone like me in my position would not be able to afford any apartment on this housing opportunity.

We need mandates to mandate affordable apartments because affordability should be for everyone, even those who are on fixed income on SSI and you were disabled.
