- He criticized the City Council for decades of underbuilding, leading to the current housing shortage
- Miller argued that approving City of Yes would help prevent future generations from facing the same housing struggles

It's just a simple note thrills building that holds 6 apartments.
7:08:58
And it was built as part of this burst of development in the in 2010, especially the twenties that really, like, transformed queens and made it the burrow that we know and love today.
7:09:11
We the population exploded, and New York City became more prosperous and more wealthy and more hospitable.
7:09:21
And now it's home to millions of people from across the world.
7:09:25
It's a triumph of American life and more we should do that again.
7:09:31
We've done it once, and we can do it again.
7:09:35
We can say yes to more housing.
7:09:37
We can build the infrastructure that we need so that more generations of New Yorkers aren't left where we left today, strong clothing to fire departments, looking and standing in line for hours at an open house, fearing the next rent increase.
7:09:57
We who rent today, especially market rate renters, we know how bad it is out there, and we know who's responsible for it.
7:10:06
It's the city council who has let this languish for decades.
7:10:12
Underbuilding the housing that we desperately need, we can start fixing that problem today by city of yes.
