Gordon Lee, a resident of Brooklyn, New York, testified against the "City of Yes" proposal, criticizing it as the "City of Mes" that promotes unaffordability and eliminates community control. He expressed concerns about rising living costs and increasing unaffordability in the city.

  • Lee shared his personal background, mentioning his birth during the Nixon administration and his move to Brooklyn in 1977.
  • He criticized the mayor's approach, suggesting that the policies only benefit developers.
  • Lee disagreed with the notion that rising costs are justified by services provided, arguing that affordability should not be equated with free services.
