Greetings, everyone, and thank you to our madam speaker and my colleagues for continuing support and fight for the advancements of our city educational system.

And of today, I am a proud champion of 2 critical pieces of legislation that brings greater transparency and accountability to New York City Education System, intro 797, which mandates the Department of Education to report on student clubs and organizations that each school.

Student clubs play a pivotal role in the personal and social development of young people and requires the DOV to provide information on facilitating advisors and off campus activities that are better evaluated and resources and support the availability to our by young people.

Intro 793 focus on the future of workforce of our city by requiring the Department of Education to report on information and career technical education programs, CTE, by providing annual reports, this will This will have us have matrix such as student enrollment, internship participation, post graduation outcomes.
