Let's get to the bills.
0:12:51
My bill until 8 16 would require the required the EEP to provide written notice to raid payers every time the city requests the base rental payment for for our water and sewage infrastructure from the New York City water board no later than 15 days before the 1st water raid hearing follow following the request of the rental payment from the water board.
0:13:16
No.
0:13:16
The rental payment, that that would be from the mayor.
0:13:20
You get what I'm talking about.
0:13:22
Requesting rental payments in the water board amounts, requesting rental payments from the water board which is done by the mayor, amounts to hidden tax on property owners and why and any time an administration chooses to take this action, the raid pairs should be informed.
0:13:37
So that's really like a notification thing.
0:13:39
This is the end of the road.
0:13:40
I think I'm starting with that.
0:13:42
But eventually, I'm not gonna be satisfied until the until the rental payment is out of business.
0:13:48
It's a very seductive hidden tax that no one knows about.
0:13:52
Which would why it it's it's so enticing for OMB where it used to work once upon a time to grab money like wherever they can when when the city is trying to make a budget.
0:14:03
That's a truly going on here, but they shouldn't be allowed to do that.
0:14:07
And if I have anything to say about it, they won't back to the text.
0:14:13
Additionally, I may I have introduced a resolution resolution 83, which upon the New York City Water Board to notify all council members and community boards at least 30 days before public hearing concerning an annual water rate concerning an annual water rate increase.
0:14:30
While the water board currently cannot change the water rate without both holding a public hearing, notice at least 20 days in advance as well as holding public hearings in each borough, each of which which we noticed 7 days in advance, judge even the lack of public participation at these hearings, the water board's current method of public notice are not sufficient.
0:14:50
We'll also be hearing another of my bills I mean, bills of Amazon.
0:14:53
We also be noticing another of my bills in show 33, which require DEP to notify relevant community boards and member offices 48 hours in advance of any planned work that might lead to this cold water or reduction in water pressure.
0:15:06
Intro 2 25, sponsored by council member Holden, to my left, would require DEP to post information on its website pertaining to schedule and requested infrastructure.
0:15:18
You know what?
0:15:18
I'm gonna let Bob talk about his bill in a minute.
0:15:21
Better to hear from him than for me.
0:15:23
And we're gonna hear intro 900, sponsored by councilor, powers.
0:15:29
Councilor, I'm assuming that you're gonna wanna speak on your bill as well.
0:15:32
Okay?
0:15:32
We'll let we'll let councilor empower us.
0:15:34
Talk about his good bill and intro 1067 sponsored by Councilor Williams.
0:15:39
This is Councilor Williams.
0:15:40
I got my reading glass.
0:15:41
What's that?
0:15:42
Oh, Zoom?
0:15:43
Okay.
0:15:46
Where was I?
0:15:49
Intro 1067 sponsored by Council Williams would require DEP to issue a request for proposals for a community based organization CBO to to identify residential pro Oh, you know what?
0:16:01
She's gonna talk about this.
0:16:02
So I'll just I'll just I'll just I'll just let her do that.
0:16:07
Oh, I'm up to the good part.
0:16:08
Thanking people.
