- The AI advisory network is OTI's biggest achievement in the past year for building external relationships
- The network consists of individuals representing diverse sectors and industries
- Members were selected through nominations and OTI's identification of valuable resources
- The network has convened as a larger group once in the summer, with plans to regroup before the end of the year
- Individual-level engagements also occur based on specific expertise needs
- The network has a little over a dozen members
- OTI is open to receiving nominations for new members through a web form on their website
Alex Foard
1:13:13
Sure.
1:13:13
So our our biggest achievement for the past year was standing up the advisory network, so that collection of individuals, represent a diverse set of sectors and industries, and they're intended to be able to help us tap into individual expertise when we need it.
1:13:27
We perceive more of the kinda, like, partnership opportunities to be really ongoing.
1:13:32
Right?
1:13:33
So we're not gonna sort of say, oh, we did one partnership.
1:13:36
We're done.
1:13:36
Mhmm.
1:13:36
We wanna think about where over time it continues to make sense to to think about partnerships.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:13:41
And what was the process for selecting those members as part of the
Alex Foard
1:13:45
At the advisory network, we had some nominations that came to us.
1:13:48
And then in other cases, we knew where some of valuable resources could be.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:13:53
And, I guess, what is the agenda or how often how often is the network meeting
Alex Foard
1:14:00
Sure.
1:14:00
It's we have convened we've convened the larger group for the first time this past summer.
1:14:06
And we have intentions to regroup with them before the end of this year.
1:14:10
And then in some cases, it's more of a individual level engagement.
1:14:13
Right?
1:14:13
Particular set a particular member who may have particular expertise if we wanna engage with that person.
1:14:18
So it's not always a standing standing phone
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:14:21
And then for the future, for just ongoing, is our our nomination is the best way for someone that wants to get involved or participate in the network.
Alex Foard
1:14:32
We're always happy to receive those.
1:14:34
We don't have a formal cap on the number of advisers.
1:14:38
And so if there's a really valuable person with valuable expertise from an organization that it makes sense to account for, we'd be happy to do that.
1:14:47
When we talk more organizationally, that's where we think about it more as a partnership versus advisory network membership, but we're always happy to receive nominations or recommendations for groups or individuals who we should be engaging with.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:14:59
And how do you all receive those nominations?
Alex Foard
1:15:02
The best way as through a web form on OTA's website, you can select artificial intelligence as your topic, and it's a dedicated inbox for all of this all of this form.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:15:14
Excellent.
1:15:15
And then the steering committee meets a little bit more regularly
Alex Foard
1:15:19
Correct.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:15:19
For more structure.
1:15:20
Do they have they met with the adviser network or are there plans for them to
Alex Foard
1:15:23
There are opportunities that we envision where those expertise could be sort of mixed together.
1:15:29
We haven't done that formally yet.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:15:31
Okay.
1:15:32
Can you share how many people are in the advisory network?
Alex Foard
1:15:36
The advisory network is up to I wanna say it's about it's a little over a dozen.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:15:39
Okay.
