So of the agencies that are involved with not the steering committee, the what's the proper name?
Alex Foard
0:28:26
Steering committee.
0:28:26
The agency 1 is the
Jennifer Gutiérrez
0:28:27
The age oh, the steering committee.
0:28:29
Excuse me.
0:28:29
Of the agencies that are participating in the steering committee.
0:28:32
Do you know of any of that have started to integrate some of these principles or practices?
Alex Foard
0:28:38
Yeah.
0:28:38
So, again, you know, the principles that we've defined are, like, in line with what you would see in other frameworks.
0:28:45
And I
Jennifer Gutiérrez
0:28:45
think they're good principles, by the
Alex Foard
0:28:46
way.
0:28:47
Exactly.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
0:28:47
I'm just trying to figure out how it becomes a document
Alex Foard
0:28:51
Sure.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
0:28:52
A healthy document that lives online.
0:28:54
And, like, what OTI's plan is to ensure that agencies are integrating Insuranceibles.
Alex Foard
0:29:00
Yeah.
0:29:00
So I think those those printer principles get integrated in different ways depending on the context and what those principles are.
0:29:06
You have the, you know, the super ease straightforward examples are are information privacy and cybersecurity.
0:29:12
These are major principles principles for us, but they are also currently premised on existing policy, law, and process.
0:29:19
So we have a lot of confidence that agencies are building those principles into their work because there's an existing framework that supports those.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
0:29:25
Okay.
Alex Foard
0:29:25
As we think about things like risk assessment, appropriateness of use, validity, these are things that we back to build a bit more in the policies that are forthcoming, but would also say some of the things that we need to build out to the action plan won't necessarily translate to a written policy, but other activities that the city may be doing.
0:29:42
So as we think about training our workforce, for example, which or number commitments in the action plan around that, those values also apply.
0:29:50
Right?
0:29:50
And it's not a written policy that says, you know, here's the here's the principle, but we have activities that are supportive of those principles as well.
