Okay.
2:34:29
I would still love love examples of that because I I feel like that's an important piece of the conversation to have if there has been a rightsizing that has that is reflective of of something positive in the community.
2:34:39
I don't think that it's the discussed.
2:34:41
And I don't have that information, so I I would love to to read it.
2:34:46
And about the bill in terms of it passing the senate and the assembly, but you are in not in favor.
Chatodd Floyd
2:34:52
So Greater New York continues to community engagement.
2:34:55
And so, you know, what we articulate is actually that, you know, we benefit from enhanced structure, enhanced communication both with the department as well as with the community.
2:35:04
They have a right to know.
2:35:05
And the existing law, you know, as Assemblywoman Simon pointed out, only allows for community engagement on the back end.
2:35:12
But recently, as a result of department guidance from last August, there is community engagement both through the pseudo win process and the HEIA, the health equity impact assessment.
2:35:24
And so for those reasons, we wanna say that model works, but because a glitch also applies to any sort of service reduction or limitation, and you have to go through the approval, that approval process for a department that, unfortunately, is not as nimble and swift as we would probably hope, has the potential to exasperate some of the financial challenges for our facilities.
Carlina Rivera
2:35:49
You said that it risk creating a bureaucratic bottleneck that could carolized necessary healthcare transformation efforts.
2:35:56
And I'm very interested in having a conversation with you all on what you think is, like, a positive like, a step in the in a in a direction where You you outlined some things.
2:36:08
You thought we're we're right about the bill, I I guess.
2:36:12
I I just want and and I'm I would love to have this meeting, like, after this, where we could talk about some of your ideas on how to create, like, interest.
2:36:20
Transparency and accountability and and your ideas for community engagement, I would love to hear that.
Chatodd Floyd
2:36:26
We welcome that as well.
Carlina Rivera
2:36:27
Yeah.
2:36:27
Okay.
2:36:28
And I just wanna say thank you to the advocates.
