Council Member Restler raises concerns about the decision-making process for the 14 Wall Street lease. He questions why DCAS did not return to 250 Broadway to see if they could match the offer from 14 Wall Street after the best and final offer was selected.
- Restler suggests there may be a conflict of interest due to the 14 Wall Street building owner's donations to Mayor Adams
- Commissioner Molina responds that DCAS did not direct the tenant rep to go back to 250 Broadway
- Molina notes that CBRE represented both properties and may have asked 250 Broadway to revise their deal

Thank you very much, council member brewer.

Before I shift gears to ask some questions about Diana Butros, I just wanted to ask in all of this back and forth of the best and final offer being selected, and then deputy commissioner Hamilton shifting gears and choosing a different site.

Did Decast return to 250 to see if they could match the offer that the savings that you're alleging were available on the 14 module?
Louis Molina

To my knowledge, to date, Decast did not direct the tenant rep, I believe, to go back to 250 Broadway, but it's important to be reminded that 250 Broadway was also represented by CBRE they were their shared client.
1:22:36
So I'm not if if CBRE went back to 250 Broadway and asked them, would they revise a deal?
1:22:43
I don't know the answer to that.
