- Record number of submissions for the collaborative planning tool
- Increased joint activities and special events planning between schools and CBOs
- CBO staff involvement in elementary school programming, bringing enrichment activities into the morning academic portion
- Curriculum and lesson plans are provided to CBOs prior to implementation
- Council Member Stevens acknowledges the implementation of her recommendation for the collaboration tool
Rita C. Joseph
2:18:35
That's for all summer.
2:18:36
Okay.
2:18:38
Are any steps taken to align in the academic and enrichment portion of the day to create a cohesive experience for students?
2:18:47
Cohesive experience
Susan Haskell
2:18:51
for AMMPL.
2:18:52
You
Rita C. Joseph
2:18:52
know that togetherness.
2:18:53
Okay.
2:18:54
We've been talking about.
Susan Haskell
2:18:55
Yes.
2:18:56
Yes.
2:18:57
I think one data point we have around that is that we had more submissions or responses around the collaborative planning tool this summer than ever before.
2:19:09
Some of the things in the past summers that you've been calling for is opportunities to meet CBO in schools in advance, opportunities to talk about where the scheduling is, what rooms are gonna be used, and what activities are gonna be implemented.
2:19:22
We see more and more joint activities being planned in terms of special events.
2:19:29
So we've really seen that collaboration on what's gonna happen throughout the day, increase.
Rita C. Joseph
2:19:40
So the blended curriculum for elementary students also incorporates your your programming together.
2:19:45
Right?
Susan Haskell
2:19:46
For an elementary student, and I I appreciate that question because you mentioned, like, a robustly attended academic classroom, but for elementary school students, CVO staff are part of that.
2:19:58
Bringing enrichment activities and energy into that, infused into the morning part of the day.
Rita C. Joseph
2:20:04
CDC council member Stevens, do you hear that?
2:20:07
Our CVO is provided with curriculum and lesson plan prior to implementation during academic programming.
2:20:12
Is that provided prior to that?
Angela Faloye
2:20:16
Correct.
2:20:16
And which is I'm glad to London did bring up the fact that we had record numbers of schools and civils filling out the collaborative planning tool.
2:20:27
The collaborative planning tool has a section where the principles must list out the curriculum.
2:20:34
To the CPU provider.
2:20:36
So, yes.
Althea V. Stevens
2:20:36
I would also like for the record to show that I've been talking about this collaboration tool, and this is one of my recommendations, so I'm happy it's happening.
2:20:43
Thank you.
