WHEN MY SCHOOLS FACE TECHNICAL PROBLEMS AND DYCD CONNECT IMPACT THE ENVICT PROCESS FOR FAMILIES, my school for the middle school process recently had a glitch.
2:14:15
So hopefully, we'll perfect it every year.
2:14:18
Even when I was in a an educator, the system always broke down.
2:14:21
Is there any way that's gonna be fixed, upgraded, Emma.
Lupe Hernandez
2:14:30
That felt personal.
2:14:32
So
Emma Vadehra
2:14:36
just so quickly, there were some issues recently.
2:14:38
There weren't issues with summer rising last year in terms of technical issues.
2:14:41
And that was actually despite the fact that summer rising enrollment is larger than any of our grade band enrollments.
2:14:47
It was actually something the team worked very hard, the technology team, the enrollment team to make sure we were ready for that because it was bigger than anything we've done in terms of number of students and it did go smoothly.
2:14:59
In terms of other issues, we are happy to talk more about them.
2:15:02
We are continuously working to improve and ensure we can meet the more flexible needs of the type of offers we want to be able to make to students and upgrade between us and Liana and Travonda and team, and we will continue to do that.
2:15:17
The truth is the adaptability of my schools is really quite useful for us at New York City Public Schools.
2:15:23
They can change an enrollment policy.
2:15:24
We can go make it happen, which would be different in a different that sort of vendor system, but we we do believe in the long term we need to upgrade and do a plan to do that.
Rita C. Joseph
2:15:36
So you're working in real time to troubleshoot my school if it decides to break down.
Emma Vadehra
2:15:44
Around the clock 24 hours a day over the past few weeks.
2:15:47
Yes.
2:15:48
And then we had a nice celebratory this between our teams.
