So on your to respond to your vacant unit question.
1:24:34
I know is a is a topic we've we've discussed that length or rehab.
1:24:39
So I'm I'm happy to report that this year in 2024 through September 2024, we've had a 57% increase compared to the same time last year of our number of move ins.
1:24:50
We've moved into 2968.
1:24:54
We are turning over at a clip of approximately 430 units a month, and so this is this has been a drastic improvement since our previous conversations.
Gale A. Brewer
1:25:05
Okay.
Eva Trimble
1:25:05
The I know you mentioned a site probably in Northern Manhattan that has significant number of vacancies.
1:25:11
I'd like to remind you that we are preparing the Saint Nicholas development for a comprehensive modernization And as part of that project, we are holding vacancy in the near nearby, you know, in the neighborhood and nearby developments in order to facilitate relocations for families and keep them in their neighborhoods.
1:25:27
So, you know, if you want to send me that example, I'll confirm that, but I suspect That significant number of vacancies is due to the impending relocation of St.
1:25:35
Nick's residence as part of the comprehensive modernization program.
UNKNOWN
1:25:38
Okay.
1:25:38
I
Gale A. Brewer
1:25:38
have a different one, but I'll give it to you offline.
1:25:41
Okay.
1:25:41
And then what about the so alright.
1:25:43
So those When you say 50% decrease, that's huge.
1:25:46
2900 move in, that's fabulous.
1:25:49
How many do you still think are vacant?
1:25:51
Do you have some number?
1:25:52
It's hard to know.
Eva Trimble
1:25:53
Yeah.
1:25:53
Right now, over right now, as we have approximately 55100 vacant units available, Remember, 60% of our move ins right now are transfers.
1:26:03
So every time we move someone another vacant open, so it's very hard to see a significant decrease in that number.
1:26:09
But we have significantly increased our production on turnovers over the over the past year or so, and we're very proud of that.
1:26:16
I do also want to address your your point about the squatters or illegal occupants.
Gale A. Brewer
1:26:22
I got a long list right here.
Eva Trimble
1:26:23
And we're happy to take that list from you.
1:26:25
Actually, we've had a great partnership with NYPD, lieutenant Barron, And we've done over a 150 activities this year.
1:26:35
I don't know what the right word is, but where we've actually been working with NYPD to secure apartments, bring them back in tonight to make sure they're locked up and remove those illegal occupants.
1:26:45
So we're happy to take that list, check it through our system, and then work with NYPD to address this situation.
