- In FY2023, Manhattan had the most events (33), while Staten Island had the least (4)

Thank you, Chair De La Rosa.

I don't know what it is, but when you mentioned Staten Island, I looked around the room in a number of people seem to be chuckling.
0:38:42
It's a real burrow everyone.
0:38:44
It matters.
0:38:45
Just going off that, you held 4 events in Staten Island, and in the other boroughs, you held how many?
Kadian Outar
0:38:51
So in for fiscal year 2023, we've had 10 events in the Bronx.
0:38:56
20 in Brooklyn, 33 in Manhattan, 17 in Queens, and then a 132 of those were online.
Eric Dinowitz
0:39:04
I'm sorry.

How many in Queens?
Kadian Outar
0:39:05
I'm sorry?
Eric Dinowitz
0:39:06
How many in Queens?

in Manhattan residents are more interested in civil service, and therefore, you have most of the events there.
Kadian Outar

I think it's really about the engagements of the different groups that we reach out to.
0:39:26
So one of the things that we do when we're doing outreach is to make sure that we are reaching out to organizations that are across the five boroughs.
0:39:33
So we have individual staff members that are working on outreach for those particular areas.
0:39:38
So within Manhattan, you may have a lot more entities that are responsive to our outreach, but that was fiscal year 2023.
0:39:46
In fiscal year 2024, we've increased those numbers to 16 in Manhattan 32 in Brooklyn I'm sorry.
0:39:54
16 in the Bronx, 32 in Brooklyn, 31 in Manhattan, 22 in Queens, and 8 in Staten Island.
0:40:00
So we are making sure that we are reaching to reaching out to the Outer boroughs.
