For just a bit of a background, the public service core program, it is a a program that allows individuals that are currently undergraduate or graduate in schools to participate in an internship at any of our city locations, city agencies.

It requires that they are received financial aid, so federal work study in order to participate and allow the school has to allow them to serve off-site.

So so far, we've had a 116 interns that participated in fiscal year 24, which represents a 50%, almost 50% increase over the previous years.

Right now, they're serving at about 11 agencies, including DCAS.

They're proud to say that department of homeless service homeless services, department of records and information services, department of using community developments, the district attorney's office, Kings County, the health and hospital, housing preservation and development, human resources administration, the law department, the office of technology and innovation, and also the public administration administrator for New York.
