Council Member Stevens inquires about the implementation of body cameras for DOC staff. The DOC Commissioner provides an update on the department's plans for body-worn cameras.

So So this past May, we had an incident with our body worn camera where one actually exploded.

We looked at all of the body worn cameras, and Ultimately, the decision is we're purchasing body worn cameras for all staff, so they will be required to wear it on their person.
