  • The frontline fleet consists of 669 ambulances

  • 143 ambulances are out of service
  • There is no distinction between ALS and BLS ambulances in terms of vehicle type; the designation depends on the personnel assigned to the ambulance

0:32:30
And how many are on the street?
Evan Suchecki
0:32:33
Minus 143 based on the out of service brings us to 526 currently available.
Joann Ariola
0:32:38
Currently available.
0:32:40
Okay.
0:32:41
The ambulances that are out of service are that are that were they were out of service due to staffing will now be put back in.
0:32:48
Correct?
0:32:49
And but how many of them are ALS versus BLS ambulances?
Evan Suchecki
0:32:54
So anything that's out of service based on staffing is more an operational question.
0:32:58
Anything that's out of service based on fleet is not necessarily ALS versus BLS.
0:33:03
An ambulance is an ambulance.
0:33:04
It's based on the personnel that EMS operations assigns to it.
0:33:08
So we do our best just to turn the vehicles around so EMS operations can utilize them as needed.
