Yeah.
1:12:12
It's just this is an example of, like, this soft type of crime that happens, that people who generally own properties have much more wealth than than others get to get away with stuff that other people where in other situations, there is clear explicit criteria, and there and that should be the case here.
1:12:31
I do my last question is, are trainings on unlawful evictions done within the PD or with your, officers on an annual basis?
Josh Levin
1:12:42
So I'll have to double check.
1:12:44
So we will do refreshers.
1:12:45
If an issue is perennial and keeps popping up, we will put out, like, department wide videos or have roll call trainings where, the sergeants will say, hey, guys.
1:12:54
Don't forget.
1:12:55
Hey, girls.
1:12:55
Hey, everybody.
1:12:56
Don't forget.
1:12:57
You gotta do x y z if you're seeing a b c.
1:12:59
And so it depends on if the issue's coming up or not.
1:13:02
I I can double check on on that specifically for you.
Sandy Nurse
1:13:05
It would be great to know since 2020, since I think that's where we're really starting to see spikes, or 2021, 2022, up to this year.
1:13:16
You know, when would when was, any, curriculum on unlawful evictions incorporated into a training and on what frequency?
1:13:25
Because this is a a growing trend, given that housing court is completely backed up.
1:13:32
People are taking matters into their own hands in really destructive ways, and so it'd be I think it'd be really pertinent to have a pretty consistent training on that.
Josh Levin
1:13:41
Yeah.
1:13:41
Certainly.
Sandy Nurse
1:13:41
Particularly in, like, the South Bronx, North Brooklyn.
1:13:45
I forget where the other, there's like a third highest area.
1:13:48
Is it over by you?
1:13:49
Maybe by, the chair.
1:13:51
So thank you.
