Council Member Bottcher inquires about the green spaces mentioned earlier, specifically asking about the Dyer Avenue stretch. Brian Weber from Manhattan Community Board 4 confirms this and provides additional information about the Hell's Kitchen South Coalition Plan, which includes decking over Dyer Avenue cuts to create more public open space and improve air quality.
- Weber emphasizes the opportunity to deck over spaces not included in the current plan
- The discussion highlights the community's desire for more public open space and air quality improvements
- The Hell's Kitchen South Coalition Plan is referenced as a source for additional community suggestions

are we we chiefly talking about the, Dyer Avenue stretch involving the pilot?
Brian Weber
1:46:58
Yes.
1:46:58
I would also just like to

Speak into the mic, if you can, please.
Brian Weber
1:47:02
Sorry.
1:47:02
I'd also just like to refer back to the Hell's Kitchen South Coalition Plan, which discussed decking over the, Dyer Avenue cuts, the below grade cuts, that lead all the way to 33rd Street.
1:47:17
Those cuts are not a part of this plan and not intended for staging.
1:47:22
This would be an opportunity, in addition to the work being done on, at grade at Dyer Avenue North, this would be an opportunity to deck over those spaces as well.
1:47:33
Again, it's air quality and desperately needed public open space, would be very appreciated.
