Speaker Adams introduces several new resolutions and pieces of legislation for the council to vote on. These cover a range of topics including veterans' recognition, education, and social-emotional learning.
- Presents Resolution 441 to designate March 29th as Vietnam Veterans Day in New York City
- Introduces Resolution 95 calling for the Department of Education to develop a curriculum on religious diversity
- Announces Resolution 13 to designate the second Friday in March as Social and Emotional Learning Day

Resolution 441 sponsored by council member Christy Marmarato would designate March 29th annually as Vietnam Veterans Day in the city of New York in honor of the bravery and sacrifice of the Americans who served and in recognition of the past and present dedication of their families and their caregivers.

Resolution 95 sponsored by council member Shahana Hanif would call upon the New York City Department of Education to consult with faith faith based organizations to develop and provide all grade levels with a curriculum that focuses on religious diversity and to provide professional development focused on religious diversity for teachers, staff, and administrators.
