Officers will visit their residents to speak to them and their family to enhance the line of communication, office support, and reinforce the seriousness of their actions.

In an effort to inform juveniles of dangers of subway surfing, we've coordinated with our partners at the New York City Public Schools to hold awareness presentations.

This school this school year, we visit over a dozen schools across the city and give them presentation to about 3,000 students with many more scheduled.

In regards to our proactive enforcement of the law, beginning in late 2023, Van Werten began use utilizing aerial drones to strategically address subway surfing.
