But this Rezo asks for the MTA to look at an environmental impact study for the Queensland.
2:09:17
Do we have your commitment to take a look at that?
2:09:19
We've asked over and over again, but now we need to pass a resolution to make sure that it gets done.
Selvena N. Brooks-Powers
2:09:26
So no matter when
Joann Ariola
2:09:27
we get the impact studies, whatever you're doing, the Queen's link is always omitted.
2:09:31
So what is the MTA's commitment to looking at the possibility of an environmental impact study for the Queen's link.
Franck Joseph
2:09:40
Yeah.
2:09:40
I mean, I'll say, as I mentioned earlier, we have our community assessment, which kinda speaks to some of the work that we're looking at when it comes to service across the city.
2:09:49
And so, that assessment is something that we are continuing to to engage with and push, and we welcome the the council to also share, as you're doing, council member, you know, the needs that you see are are very important, and we're, willing to have a good, faithful conversation.
Joann Ariola
2:10:08
Is the Queensland involved in, in a part of that assessment?
2:10:12
Is the Queensland a part of that assessment?
Jeremy Feigelson
2:10:18
Council member, I think the MTA will just have to get back to you to continue the conversation.
2:10:22
For better or worse, what you've got at the day us here today is the anti subway surfing team.
2:10:27
We're very open to continuing the conversation and very, very aware that Queen's has borne the brunt for decades of, underinvestment in the expansion of transit.
2:10:37
We all know there are these ghost maps out there of lines proposed and never built going back many years, and far too many of that far too much of that sort of ghost system is in your district, in your neighborhoods.
2:10:49
We get that, and we're very open to continuing the conversation.
2:10:52
Just don't wanna, you know, overrepresent what the 3 of us were able to get into today.
Selvena N. Brooks-Powers
2:10:56
Thank you.
2:10:56
We're gonna move now to council member Jennings.
Joann Ariola
2:10:58
You for the time.
