You know, first, I'll I'll say as a as a person who has lived in Southeast Queens for most of his life and, Sherry Brooks Powers has has been my council member for for many years, and, you know, I I definitely understand, the sentiments that folks have.

And that's why we're we're taking multifaceted approaches.

You mentioned things that we're doing to improve service such as, you know, work on the a line.

And and I know last week, we had the the open house with, you know, with many members here and and other elected officials from Southeast Queens.

We're also looking at the Queen's bus network redesign.

You can look to our community assessment and some of the work that we, are looking at actively.

And, you know, for us, we wanna continue good, faithful conversation on how to ensure that we're having good service and reliable service at that, for all New Yorkers.

We understand that transportation is the lifeblood of New York City.

Unlike other cities where the city grew, and then they put transportation, New York City is one of those rare gems in the entire world really where the transit system expanded and then the city grew around the transit system.

So we understand that, when you're riding that subway or when you're on that bus, you're able to, you know, have that that millionaire or billionaire stand next to that working class mother.

And and it brings all of us together.

And so for us, ensuring that we are putting the best service out there, is of utmost importance, and we will continue to, look at the best way, to do that for all New Yorkers.
