  • Approximately 350,000 students use the subway system daily
  • Introduction of student Omni cards this school year has led to increased taps
  • Specific numbers for elementary and middle school students were not immediately available

And are more middle school and high school students using the subways now compared to a few years ago?
Franck Joseph
0:44:17
Well, the one thing that we can say is we have approximately 350,000 students who use our subway system, daily.
0:44:25
And we've seen because of Omni, which we, you know, we have our student Omni cards, which were launched this school year.
0:44:31
We're seeing more taps.
0:44:32
And so, you know, in in terms of the specific numbers for elementary and middle school students, we'd have to get back to you for that data, but we can report on our daily ridership across the board with students.
