How many city employees are currently eligible to work remotely?
Daniel Pollak
2:11:32
So I don't have data on the numbers to the employees, and, you know, just to give you some background on how the process worked.
2:11:39
When the remote work pilot was launched, there was an initial approval process that went through, the flexible work committee, which I have representatives from, city hall, DCAS, OLR, and others, where they would approve the initial rosters.
2:11:52
But that was just kind of the initial pilot.
2:11:54
You know, since then, employees may have been taken out of remote work, employees may have been added, new groups added.
2:12:00
So we don't keep a running tracker of how many employees are working remotely.
2:12:04
I can tell you, and I do have here the number of agencies that were approved for remote work.
2:12:09
What do you got?
2:12:10
Give me a moment
Lincoln Restler
2:12:11
to find And I'll tell you the numbers that I have, because maybe they're right, is 25,000 DC 37 workers and 15,000 non DC 37 workers.
2:12:21
40,000 total are currently eligible for remote work is the data that we have, but but please confirm if you know differently.
Daniel Pollak
2:12:26
Like I said, I don't have that data.
2:12:28
We can, work to tell you what we do have.
2:12:30
Okay.
2:12:31
We have 40 agencies who are participating in the, remote work pilot and 31, who have been approved for to press work.
2:12:40
There is a process to to actually start a pilot.
2:12:43
They have to meet with the affected union, discuss before actually moving forward, but those are the numbers that have been approved.
