We've been joined this morning by council members Hudson, Salam, Fadeus, Brewer, it's early, Sanchez, Carr, Hanks, Stevens, Lewis, and Ayala.

Today, our committee will be voting on 8 items, 6 property tax exemption resolutions, as well as intros 557b and 981a.

The first two exemption resolutions are for new partial 40 year article 11 exemptions for preservation of 1 building each in council member Avilla's district.

Both buildings are affordable housing developments for very low income elderly and disabled people undergoing conversions to, HUD's rental assistance, demonstration or the RAD program.

As part of the exemption, each building will enter into a regulatory agreement with HPD, which caps household incomes at 50% AMI, set aside 30% of units for, homeless tenants, and provide light touch retention and, stabilization services, as well as complete identified immediate and short term capital repairs.

The next exemption is for a new full 40 year Article 11 for preservation of 1 affordable senior housing rental building in council member, Brewer's District.

As a condition of the exemption, the building will enter into an HPD regulatory agreement, capping unit incomes at 50% AMI.

We'll set aside 25 units for homeless tenants, and reserve the remaining units for seniors.

The 4th exemption is a new full 40 year article 11 for preservation of a 114 rental buildings in council member Riley's district.

As a condition of receiving the exemption, the project will enter an HPD regulatory agreement that will require a minimum 15% set aside for homeless tenants and restrict rents.

The 5th exemption is a new partial 40 year article 11 for preservation of 1 rental building in council member Abreu's district.

As a condition of receiving the exemption, the building will complete identified short term and critical need repairs, as well as enter into a 40 year HPD regulatory agreement, which would set aside 15% of units for homeless tenants, and participate in HPD's aging in place initiatives, imposing rent restrictions.

The final exemption today is a new partial 40 year article 11 for preservation of 1 rental building in council member Salaam's district.

Finally, the 2 bills, 557 b, sponsored by council member Brewer, would require the New York City Office of Technology and Innovation to create a specific three one one category for for the public to file complaints related to unlicensed cannabis retailers.

Intro 981 a, also sponsored by council member Brewer, would update existing reporting on the city's inspection and enforcement of unlicensed sellers of cigarettes, e cigarettes, tobacco products, and illicit cannabis.

This update will involve reporting related, reporting related to the new enforcement actions local authorities may make under state cannabis law and provide increased details on the outcomes of each inspection that's been conducted by city agencies.
