You can obviously protect student privacy, but yet also let students and the public writ large know the results of an investigation.
2:16:38
Those two things are not are not incompatible at all.
Felix Matos Rodriguez
2:16:41
We are in agreement.
Julie Menin
2:16:42
Okay.
2:16:42
So you will be releasing you will be releasing that.
2:16:45
Yeah.
2:16:46
In my remaining time, I also want to in addition to the long laundry list of things that we are now insisting that you provide to this committee by the end of the week, I wanna add that you send a letter, and this and this relates to questioning that chair Dinowitz, did in the beginning, to diversity officers at all the campuses to require them to notify students of the results of these investigations.
2:17:09
You mentioned that the diversity officers at each school had responsibility for that.
2:17:14
Have you provided a letter to all of them to to request that they are communicating with students on the results of Yeah.
Felix Matos Rodriguez
2:17:21
And I've told that also in the meeting with the president.
Julie Menin
2:17:23
And then my last question is, on September 23rd, judge Littmann issued his report.
2:17:30
What was your official response to governor Hochul and to judge Littmann and to the public?
Felix Matos Rodriguez
2:17:37
Well, we we we welcome the recommendations from the judge.
2:17:40
As I mentioned in my testimony, we've been working on another recommendations even before the the the the judge issued the the report.
2:17:50
So we've been hard at work on those recommendations.
Julie Menin
2:17:52
So all I saw was a press release.
2:17:54
I saw that you all issued a press release.
2:17:56
I have not seen any official correspondence to the governor, to judge Lippman, to the city council, to any public entity other than a press release.
Felix Matos Rodriguez
2:18:05
Well, we've been again, we've been supposed to do in press releases.
2:18:08
We've been working on the training.
2:18:10
All the things that the judge many of the things that were there, we've been doing the training to the CDOs, to the personnel that does all the investigation.
Julie Menin
2:18:17
I I just think with all due respect that a press release is a wholly inadequate response to the seriousness of judge Littman's report.
Eric Dinowitz
2:18:26
Thank you.
2:18:27
