Chairperson Lee and colleagues on the council, I'm thrilled that my bill, intro 986, is being heard in today's hearing.

Intro 986 relates to a pilot program aimed at involving mental health professionals and professional candidates in student wellness clubs in public middle and high schools.

This bill would require the commissioner of health and mental hygiene to develop a 2 year pilot program to engage mental health professionals and professional candidates in these wellness clubs.
