Thank you for that because you know how important it is as a parents when the children get some information over here and you're not kind of aware of it and they create some confusion when they receive the information and how they process it.
1:33:24
And, who knows the children best?
1:33:26
The parents.
1:33:27
Right?
1:33:28
Are these clear channels for parents to review and provide feedback on the materials being used in the classrooms?

1:33:37
So my understanding is that, you know, again, this from my past experience, there are curricular nights at each school.
1:33:44
They're encouraged.
1:33:45
It happens early in September, and each teacher shares what curricular materials are going to be used.
1:33:53
So that's that's sort of happening at the local school level.
1:33:56
I think, I don't know if resources are available for families.

Yeah.
1:34:02
I I mean, and at the central level, as I mentioned, whenever we do, like, a district wide curriculum review, we involve parents in that work, to make sure that they're part of the part of the review process.
Despina Zaharakis
1:34:13
But in terms of curriculum being used in their children's classroom Right.
1:34:17
You know, that would happen at the local school level.
1:34:20
That's curriculum night, you know, early in September, and teachers share with families what resources they're going to be using.

I love the idea that principals and schools kind of independent and doing their own things, but at the end of the day we want to make sure since it's a curriculum it's throughout New York City's and throughout New York City and all our children are receiving the same materials in some way, but reinforcement and different things can be done on the kind of particular each schools, right?
1:34:53
But we want our children to be on the same page at the end of the day.
