NYC Public Schools offers extensive professional learning opportunities for staff to enhance their ability to provide sexual health education. These offerings have been expanded and updated to meet teachers' needs.

Each year, we expand our reach and update our training offer offerings, including both live virtual and on demand trainings to meet teachers' scheduling needs.

In 2022, 2023, and 2023, 24, a total of 5,454 New York City public school staff attended at least one of the 178 sexual health education professional learning opportunities offered by our office.
