My name's Carol Wilson, and I've been hit by a bike not once, but twice.

Both times, I was crossing a street in a pedestrian walkway with the walk signal.

The first time I was hit, I saw the walk signal, but before leaving the curb, bike coming straight at me.

I put up my hand and yelled, stop.

At the I was diagnosed with a skull fracture and had to wait there 10 more hours to make sure that my brain wasn't bleeding.

This was especially dangerous as I'm on a blood thinner.

During my long wait, I had called the police to make a report and just as I was leaving the ER, a police detective came.

I asked if he thought they could find the cyclist.
