Thank you chairperson and members.
2:10:00
I appreciate your time.
2:10:01
I'm I hope you're truly here, all of us today.
2:10:06
I'm here today because I strongly support Priscilla's law for e vike registration.
2:10:12
I'm an aging person with disability and a victim of an e vehicle, though the only casualty was my grocery cart with the groceries.
2:10:24
But I remember that fear of impact And I can only imagine the impact of those who have living with injuries and those who lost their life.
2:10:38
Life is too precious.
2:10:39
It must be protected.
2:10:41
Our e vehicles are out of control.
2:10:44
I rode bikes all my life.
2:10:46
I rode them as an adult with my children.
2:10:48
I'm not anti bike, but I am anti regard to those who do not safely share the road.
2:10:55
And Priscilla Loehr is the first step to bringing back water to this chaotic situation.
2:11:01
When I had my police report, it was written as a motor motor vehicle.
2:11:08
There was no specification that it was an e bike that hit me.
2:11:13
But when you get hit by an e bike, and as I have neighbors who have been, and you fall to the floor, your injuries are just as serious as if you're hit by a car.
2:11:23
There's lane breaks, concussions, fractured skulls, broken bones, and a hip displacement.
2:11:31
That's damage and hospitalization.
2:11:34
You don't get over that so easily.
2:11:39
And the city bags that have been put through all out the neighborhood, They've been put there.
2:11:43
They're heavy.
2:11:44
They go at large fast speeds.
2:11:47
There's no education and there's no accountability.
2:11:52
So I'm asking that you sign this law because it does have accountability.
2:12:00
And there's nothing that should prevent people from getting injured and saving their lives.
2:12:07
Thank you.
